This long-arse 8-bitty comic is actually a possibly not qualified entry to
's contest since this is about... a day or so late. Bleck.
Anyway, I made this just for fun.
Now for some explanations...
Why the crap Meteor is considered as a Psychic move?
Because [I am typing this while tired, it is 6:31AM CST, OK!?] that what I read that psychic energies are from the soul. And in Final Fantasy VII, that summoning Meteor via the Black Materia requires some serious spiritual energies.
SuperNova a dual-type move? Why not! : D There are dual-type Pokémon, so, there should be some dual-type moves. Sounds not too bad, eh?
Dude... Steel types are not in R/B/Y...
Neither does Sephiroth. Also, Sephiroth's weapon is a steel blade, so SHADDUP!
A week for the Meteor to arrive?
Yup, just do one of two things to understand this. 1 - get the game for Final Fantasy VII and play it or 2 - watch some FFVII stuff on YouTube.
The battle in the comic dragged out like this is due to of the votes I was observing on GameFAQs. If you peeps can believe it, MissingNo. was IN THE LEAD for the first few hours before Sephiroth took in the lead and finally KO's MissingNo.
I made the comic, "customized" moves, and the Pokémon-Trainer-turned-Sephiroth sprite. x3
Sephiroth © SquareSoft (Square Enix)
MissingNo. © Nintendo, Game Freak, Creatures, The Pokémon Company... am I missing anyone?
for making the Pokémon text to script/font form. It makes my comic making convenient. Thank you very much
C1994 of The Spriters Resource for ripping the border, battle commands, and battle screens. Those are cool!
Zephiel87 of The Spriters Resource for ripping the Pokémon Attacks. Those are a lot of fun!
The black and white MissingNo. sprite can be found here: [link]
Well, I think that is it. I hope people will enjoy this good old fashioned mess. EDITS: DOWNLOAD PICTURE IS YOUR FRIEND. (because the comic does look weird in Full View for some reason) AND I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT IT IS QUALIFIED FOR THE CONTEST! YAY! : D
